Are Your Tires Tired?

When was the last time you rotated your tires? You may be thinking that your tires rotate while you're driving, but that's not quite the same as a tire rotation. As you drive along, your tires undergo wear and tear; however, they do not all wear the same. The front tires are used for turning, and they wear more on the outsides. The rear tires follow the front, and they wear more evenly. The tires used for driving (whether you have front-wheel, rear-wheel, or all-wheel drive) also undergo more wear.

Uneven tires can give a poorer performance out on the road. Not only that, but it means that some of your tires might wear out faster than others. Tire rotation moves the tires into different positions on your car, helping to counteract the uneven wear. This increases the lifespan of your tires, and helps them give a better performance. It depends on how much you drive, but you generally want to rotate your tires twice a year. Rotating your tires is easy; just schedule an appointment with our service center, and we'll take care of the rest. At Vaden Used Cars, we're here to help.
